What is Casus Belli: Act of War

In this game, players will try to overtake the monarch’s throne by expanding their duchies at the expense of neutral and rival territories. The players will need to use intrigue and diplomacy in order to justify their aggressive actions.

Each player will build his duchy by collecting resources and building up a glorious army to oppose any throne claimers on the battlefield. The game offers 4 different royal houses to play, each with their own duchy tile, representing their initial territory. Each territory has different topographic and economic characteristics. The fast-paced battle system infuses both random and tactical layers into a thrilling conflict resolution system.

Each player also has a court, and will need to appoint the right ministers, nobles and generals to the right tasks in order to pull off their great rebellion. The game offers a unique trading system that enables enhancing your military campaign with the best soldiers gold can buy. The player with the most impressive army, the deepest pocket and the best court will rule over all others.
