What is Arena: The Contest – The Mythical Phoenix

The Mythical Phoenix features villain cards for both incarnations of the Phoenix, in addition to a new card for the innovative Kemet Hunt rule that incorporates the Phoenix's gameplay mechanics. As a recurring antagonist throughout your campaign, the Phoenix becomes integral to your game narrative. The Penumbral Phoenix emerges as an adversary at the first level of the Kemet Hunt, while the formidable Hellfire Phoenix appears at level six.

Incorporating the Phoenix into your campaign will add an intriguing layer of novelty to the Kemet Hunt system. In the first level, the Penumbral Phoenix arrives as your opponent after the first enemy killed on a quest, entering the fray in a blaze of flames, wreaking havoc amongst nearby combatants. Should you progress to the daunting Kemet Hunt level 6, you will face the powerful Hellfire Phoenix bringing even greater challenge to your heroes.

These awe-inspiring mystical creatures, native to the Darkall continent, have been bound by Kemet's necromantic magic. They now roam the skies of Tanares, seeking out the energies of death and arriving in a spectacular fiery display.

The Phoenix undoubtedly enhances the Kemet Hunt system. Along with a refined Kemet Hunt we developed for all backers, those who pledge for the Phoenix will also have the option of using this stunning miniature and distinct villain, offering a unique new mechanic.
