What is Arcane Engines
Arcane Engines is a racing game designed by Dragonmount Press, set in a fantasy world where teams of elves, dwarves, gnomes, humans, orcs, goblins and potato people race each other in high speed arcane chariots for glory.
Players take up the roles of a crew aboard a magical chariot pulled by an arcane engine. They have to face different traps and unique hazards such as small enemies and bosses on the different racecourses, such as a snowy-mountain peak, deep dwarven mine, magical elven forest, racing colosseum and more, while they gather treasures and race for the finish line.
The game can be played by 1-7 players. It’s competitive by default, but can be played as a co-op game and it has both one- and two-handed solo modes. There are 2 playstyles: race or championship. A race takes ~20-35 minutes. A championship takes 120+ minutes. Races are won by whoever gets 1st place, but championships are won by the player who collects the most Gold Pieces.
