Acemhöyük: A Myth-Historical Wargame

While reading about ancient civilizations and conflicts, one thing became clear to me – myths, gods, and horrific creatures were real to these people, and so what better way to portray ancient battles than to make the supernatural as real as they were believed to be?

Acemhöyük is a wargame written while living in Turkey and drawing from the ancient Anatolian civilizations that once lived there. In conjunction with Iliada Game Studio, we created a simple yet effective mass battle game with a unique command system that makes for interesting decisions.

This game is aimed at 6mm scale miniatures, and laser-cut MDF miniatures are available from Iliada Game Studio by request. This is a mass-battle game, somewhat in line with Warhammer Fantasy Battles, but much simpler.
